Peaks is a family of pendants, composed of a string of elongated cones in different configurations. The graded shading on the curved surface of each cone is as much of a feature as the projected beams emitted from each cone. It can be displayed as a single, double or triple arrangement, pointing up or down depending on the preferred direction of light. An identical inverted cone acts as a rose attached to the ceiling. When the light is off, the forms appear very schematic, as if borrowed…

Inspired by an ancient lunar theory, the Blue Skies lamp features a silver base and a Hinoki wood and paper shade. It reflects light upward, creating a serene, glowing disc that captures and balances light.

The lights posit various combinations of standard linear incandescent bulbs, either 0.5m or 1m long, and tubular brass fittings of the same diameter. They appear as parallel repetitions of rods, varying between metal and illuminated.

Cone Light is a small wall and ceiling sconce with a geometric postmodern reference.

Inspired by classic pinball machines, Anastassiades’ General Illuminations is a group of new lights. The designs combine archetypical spheres with mirrored surfaces that reflect the light and create a sense of endless depth. The impossibility for one to see one’s reflection in the mirror is a play on the myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own image, while the sphere references those used by clairvoyants to read into the future.
