Hades, God of the Dead, abducted Persephone, daughter of the goddess of agriculture, Demeter, to be his wife in the underworld. Distraught, Demeter searched high and low for heroes with the necessary strength and character to rescue her beloved daughter from Hades' control.

During this quest, Demeter finds Dexius Primus and Andreas Lykaios, heroes from the Greco-Roman war, and promises them a Mythical artifact that can change the course of war if they rescue her daughter.
