Copernicus In Situ Newsletter
The European Environment Agency’s newsletter on Copernicus In Situ Coordination is designed to inform and engage the Copernicus community on the latest developments from the Copernicus In Situ Component and the EEA’s in situ coordination activities.
The publication showcases the many uses of in situ data within the Copernicus Programme. This includes cross-cutting issues such as the signature of new data agreements and opportunities and events related to in situ from across the Copernicus Programme’s thematic domains.

The newsletter is divided into the following sections:
Featured
This section will present feature stories and/or interviews of key stakeholders in the Copernicus in situ community, such as the European Commission, the European Environment Agency, and the European Space Agency.
On the Spot
This section provides stories from the Copernicus In Situ Component, across the monitoring, observations and spatial data fields, including articles on how in situ data is used in the context of Copernicus. It will also include more general articles from around the open data community, including stories on newly released datasets and new agreements on data release or sharing.
Member States’ Corner
The Member States’ Corner is an occasional section of the Copernicus In Situ Newsletter dedicated to showcasing the experiences of Member States in making innovative use of national in situ datasets in combination with Copernicus products or satellite data, to develop or support national, institutional or other downstream activities.
In Proximity
This section contains links to stories published by relevant partners, stakeholders, projects, and associations.
Opportunities
This section contains links to relevant calls, tenders, expressions of interest, etc. along with a short description.
Events
