This qualitative research was performed with 11 primary school teachers at a state school in the ... more This qualitative research was performed with 11 primary school teachers at a state school in the city of Curitiba/Brazil, with the goal to identify how primary school teachers perceive adolescence. The information was collected by means of a Group Discussion strategy and organized in four theme-categories. The teachers' statements revealed the plurality of the adolescence process, stressing its uniqueness. Adolescence is a unique phenomenon, varying according to culture, social class, race, gender and age, configuring distinctive ways of experiencing it. All this diversity, however, enables to develop relations with teenagers, including attention, nurturing, comfort, patience and sensitiveness, besides getting across curricular contents.

The objective of this study is to understand the change women go through in their daily life, con... more The objective of this study is to understand the change women go through in their daily life, considering the transition during adolescence and maternity. It aims at understanding the existential meaning of the pregnant adolescent, facing transition, as a located phenomenon, in the simultaneity of life events. Data were collected through the discourse of eight pregnant adolescents who answered a phenomenological interview guided by the question: "What is it to be a pregnant adolescent undergoing transition, as a located phenomenon, in the simultaneity of life events?" The comprehensive analysis of the reports was based on the Heideggerian hermeneutics. It showed that pregnant adolescent experience this transitional moment with fear, fragility and ambiguous feelings of pleasure and suffering, according to the meanings attributed to their experiences.

METHODS: The methodology is quantitative, the method is phenomenological and the theoretical framework is that of Paterson & Zderad. Interviews were carried out with ten health team professionals. RESULTS: The phenomenological analyses resulted in 11 meaning units and four converging categories: understanding that humanistic attitude mobilizes interpersonal relationships in the hospital technological environment; the interpersonal relationships in the hospital technological environment involving the health team; the meaning of the family's presence in the interpersonal relationships with the health team; the dynamicity of care permeating the conduct that should be followed in a hospital technological environment.
