She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at LEMNA-University of Nantes on a research programme focusing on movie industry, its territorial and creative dynamics in the north of Paris. Her research activities deal with the relationships between art, creative economy and urban renewal.

"Temporary use professionals, new actors in urban planning? From the renewal of methods in urban planning to the emergence of new professions"
This paper focuses on the emergence and structuring of a new category of professionals, dedicated to the development, management and animation of temporary places. The development of this new professional field is linked to the growing enthusiasm of traditional actors of urban planning and development for temporary urbanism. It is explained by the arrival of new comers in the urban production system, bringing new visions and methods for the transformation of the city. The professionalization of these operators contributes to the constitution of a new profession. However, because of the diversity of their professional trajectories, the structuring of this field is not done without clashes or tensions. In fact these operators do not carry the same representations, the same ambitions and the same ways of acting.

Notre objectif est de proposer des cles de lecture pour comprendre comment emergent et evoluent les clusters culturels metropolitains (CCM), en conjuguant une approche geographique et urbaine aux theories evolutionnistes (Comunian 2010, Chapain et De Propis 2009, De Roo 2010). Nous cherchons à expliquer leurs bifurcations strategiques : comment, par exemple, un quartier d’artistes devient progressivement un cluster « du numerique » ? Ce chapitre apporte un nouveau regard sur les clusters culturels metropolitains en s’attardant non pas sur leurs impacts et resultats mais sur les processus de leur developpement. Il ouvre des nouvelles perspectives de recherche, alors que la majorité des travaux privilegie une approche statique et descriptive de ces clusters.
Apres avoir presenté la diversité des clusters culturels (ou qualifies comme tels), nous presenterons ce que recouvre le cluster culturel metropolitain. Ces CCM ou « meta-projets » sont d’autant plus difficiles à apprehender qu’ils se situent àl’intersection de politiques urbaines, economiques et culturelles.
En nous appuyant sur le cadre theorique utiliséen geographie economique evolutionniste (Boschma et Martin 1999 ; Storper et Walker 1989, Scott 2006), nous montrons dans quelle mesure les CCM ont des dynamiques d’emergence et d’evolution qui s’expliquent par differentes forces. A partir de l’analyse de trois etudes de cas, le cluster Quartier de la Creation à Nantes, le quartier Saint-Roch à Quebec et le projet 22@ à Barcelone, nous mettons ces forces en exergue.
