With all of the excitement of the exhibition, I didn't find time to thank all of the wonderful staff at Cloth Paper Scissors, especially Jenn Mason, Barb Delaney and Sally Murray. I taught a two day journal workshop from home and had a lovely group of students at Artified attend my Gelli plate printing workshop. That's where part of the month went. Well 21 Secrets has been up and running, very successfully, for two weeks. I now have two weeks to go before the opening of our exhibition with Jacky, Patsy, Elizabeth and Coral at Lillico Gallery in Lillico, near Warragul. I'm back into colour mode again, not that I ever really left it. Doing the vintage book was a slight diversion. The above images are covers for signatures for journals I'm making as part of my exhibition. The show is called 'The Works' which aptly describes it. Patsy and I both have a diverse range of things we create. I paint with pastels but will also have some collage and mixed media paintings. I will have lots of jewellery. I'm super busy at present, I'm working on a journal commission that's a gift so I can't show it until my client's gifted it. I've also added some fabric collage cards to my Etsy store. These make ideal gifts as they can be framed and hung on the wall. I love making them, just adding little bits here and there from my fabric scraps, stitching and beading. I use lots of my hand dyed laces and fabrics in their making. I'll be holding my second two day fabric journal workshop starting November…

I mentioned in my last post that I'd almost completed a journal to go in my Etsy shop. Well it's now completed and I'm delighted that it will be winging it's way to Maggi in the UK. We're very lucky where we live, our garden very rarely gets snow and just the occasional frost. We've had it quite cold, for us any way, and lots of rain so every thing is looking very lush. These are a few photos taken in our front garden. Our house is open plan so this is the view from the living and dining room.
