Comment “GLOW” for the free video tutorial! 🎄While these lights have a holiday feel, it’s still an excellent lesson for New Years and January, especially if you live in a colder darker region this time of year! 👩🏼‍🎨 I’ve modified this lesson A LOT since I first started doing it 8 years ago. It’s another student favorite and the results are always SO magical! 💡I give my young artists three different sized light bulb templates to choose from to save time, but you can always use circle tracers and draw your own. 🖍️ First we blend analogous colors using oil pastels on white paper. ✂️ Next we cut them out, create the glow with chalk pastels on black construction paper, then glue the bulbs down. 🤩 Voila! The results are always Chalk Christmas Lights, Christmas Chalk Pastel Art, Glow Paint Ideas, Oil Pastel Christmas Art, Chalk Pastel Art Ideas Easy, New Year Art Projects, Oil Pastel On Black Paper, Light And Shadow Art, Christmas Lights Drawing
