Comment “GLOW” for the free video tutorial! 🎄While these lights have a holiday feel, it’s still an excellent lesson for New Years and January, especially if you live in a colder darker region this time of year! 👩🏼‍🎨 I’ve modified this lesson A LOT since I first started doing it 8 years ago. It’s another student favorite and the results are always SO magical! 💡I give my young artists three different sized light bulb templates to choose from to save time, but you can always use circle tracers and draw your own. 🖍️ First we blend analogous colors using oil pastels on white paper. ✂️ Next we cut them out, create the glow with chalk pastels on black construction paper, then glue the bulbs down. 🤩 Voila!
