Gender and globalization : a macroeconomic perspective

Abstract
Reviews current knowledge concerning the relationship between gender inequalities and the economic liberalization policies that underpin globalization processes. Explores economic policy proposals and initiatives which aim to promote gender equity in the context of the world economy.
