Abstract
"The corona outbreak and efforts to contain the pandemic led to a considerable shutdown of the German economy, entailing far-reaching measures to reduce social contacts and temporary closures of establishments. Using data from the IAB Job Vacancy Survey, we explore whether and to what extent the Corona shutdown changed employers’ labor demand and employment expectations over the next 12 months."
