L?effetto dei contratti di rete sulla performance d?impresa: il caso italiano

Abstract
L?articolo analizza l?effetto dei Contratti di Rete (regolati dalla legge 33/2009) sulla performance delle imprese Italiane per il periodo 2010-2015. La novit? apportata da questa tipologia di contratto permette di rilassare alcuni criteri tipici dei distretti industriali, come la vicinanza geografica e l?appartenenza delle imprese allo stesso settore, e beneficiare di scambi di conoscenza tra imprese eterogenee ma coinvolte nel raggiungimento di un comune progetto economico. L?obiettivo di questo lavoro ? duplice: la prima parte mira a capire se la partecipazione delle imprese italiane ad una rete ? vantaggiosa in termini di crescita e profittabilit?. Nella seconda parte, vengono analizzate quali caratteristiche del Contratto di Rete impattano positivamente sulla performance delle imprese che vi partecipano. L?analisi empirica ? basata su circa 4,000 imprese italiane, di cui la met? hanno siglato un Contratto di Rete nel 2013. I risultati evidenziano l?effetto positivo del Contratto sulla crescita del fatturato delle imprese, e tra le caratteristiche principali i contratti volti all?internazionalizzazione e innovazione aumentano la profittabilit? delle aziende che vi aderiscono.
