Short- versus long-run effects of offshoring when sectors are heterogeneous

Abstract
Das eingereichte Manuskript beschäftigt sich sowohl theoretisch als auch empirisch mit den Arbeitsmarkt Effekten von Offshoring in Sektoren, welche sich im Anteil der verlagerbaren Arbeitsschritte unterscheiden. Wir zeigen, dass Offshoring in einem allgemeinen Gleichgewichtsmodell nicht nur die Arbeitsnachfrage in Industrien mit hohem Anteil an verlagerbaren Arbeitsschritten reduzieren kann, sondern auch in Industrien, die einen sehr geringen Anteil an diesen Arbeitsschritten aufweisen.
