Our Trophy Showcase at the office

This trophy case is located on the second floor in the Funkhouser Building. This caught my eye because I noticed all the trophies were for different thing but did not say specifically. I started wondering who were awarded these trophies? Where they for a Sport, Academics, or recognizing a certain department in the building or here on campus? How long do the awards date back to?
