People: Fanti Ghana L: 21 3/4" The large fine stool of classical form in the form of two fully carved seated figures facing one another across a low table; one figure with hand to bowl atop the table, undoubtedly depicting an Akan proverb. Remains of white pigment and signs of having been washed in a traditional context.
