Babka gymnotrachelus adalah sebuah spesies ikan yang berasal dari perairan air tawar, terkadang air payau, di Laut Hitam.[2] Spesies tersebutditempatkan pada genus monotipik, Babka, yang sempat dianggap sebagai subgenus dari genus Neogobius, namun kemudian ditingkatkan ke status genus berdasarkan pada analisis molekuler.[3][4]
