In previous articles, I have stated that lenses are one of the most important features of the whole camera setup. They are responsible for the sharpness and quality of the image, making them a topic worth researching. For astrophotography, a fast lens (low aperture) is key for obtaining stunning images of the night sky!

So excited to test out some new equipment! I finally purchased my dream camera this weekend- the Sony a7R V. I think this camera will do my dishes if I can find the right setting. I choose @sony because their blacks are a touch blacker (which is nice for astrophotography), there is a 61MP sensor, and their @sonyalphafemale community is tremendous for support as well as weekly mini grants. Can't wait to put it to the test (this photo is of my old sony).
