Anne jeffreys

Anne Jeffreys (January 26th 1923 – September 27th 2017), an American actress and singer. Anne was planning an operatic career when she was cast in a staged musical review, 'Fun for the Money'. Her appearance in that revue led to her being cast in her first movie role, in 'I Married an Angel' (1942) and she went on to appear in around 40 films as well as numerous television appearances.

The actress and singer also starred on Broadway in 'Kiss Me Kate,' played Tess Trueheart on the big screen and appeared on 'General Hospital' over two decades.

In sad new today General Hospital alum Anne Jeffreys who played socialite Amanda Barrington has passed away at the age of 94.
