Home Recording Pro was set up by an acoustics and sound engineering enthusiast in 2016.

Our aim is to provide you with the most important information to help you make the best decisions about sound and music.

The editor (Jamie) is well rehearsed in the arts of music and acoustics. He has an MSc in acoustics and music technology, and a diploma in sound engineering.

We’re passionate about these vices, and we hope that comes across in our writing.

Besides guides on soundproofing and room acoustics, we’ll also dabble in sound recording techniques and equipment.
