Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Strange Souls était une présentation du spectre dans sa totalité avec une musique qui touchait autant le royaume des vivants que celui des morts, entre maîtrise et folie. Dans Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, Spectral Spectrum se concentre sur les couleurs les plus sombres. S'il combine toujours heavy et black metal, donnant un son rentre-dedans, c'est ce dernier qui a l'ascendant. Le tempo est un peu plus lent et les ambiances confirment que la rigolade est terminée (enfin, pas trop). Brrr... Favorite track: Black Wood.

Shoigunjinsho Oh how I loved the chanting on this track, a good throw back to Spectral's first. This is the trve horror heavy metal. There's a few parts in here that remind me of Sigh. A MOTHER FUCKIN GHOOOOOOOST AAAAUUGGGHHAAAAA!!!!! Favorite track: In a Dark, Dark Room.
