🧵 THRIFT FABRIC: practice on cheap thrifted fabric-bed sheets and tablecloths are the best. This will help you gain confidence and practice before buying the good fabric! 

🧵THREAD: Polyester sew all thread will work for 99% of your projects. Make sure to buy quality thread- it makes a huge difference in how your machine operates- I recommend Gutermann or Mettler!

🧵NEEDLES: Match your needle size to your fabric- with thinner the fabric, use a thinner needle, the thicker the fabric, the larger the needle needs to be (smaller numbers are thinner, larger are thicker. 60-75 for thinner fabrics, 80-110 for heavier fabrics like denim/canvas).
