Dear friends,

Lindongnote was born on October 6, 2023, in Hangzhou, founded by a pair of close friends with a shared dream. They hoped to leave a warm and free learning space for Chinese students—page by page, note by note, capturing the effort and pulse of youth.

The original Lindongnote 1 quietly ended in March 2024. Later, the Wintertea International Management Committee (WTIMC) took over on January 29, 2025, operating Lindongnote 2, continuing the original dream and enthusiasm. Though the user base was small, every note created, every feature improved, was a sincere effort, leaving its mark on our youth.

Following a WTIMC meeting, all services of Lindongnote 2 will be permanently shut down on January 29, 2026.

Death is not the end; forgetting is, just like those warriors who never gave up, never forgot, and always stood up again. We believe that in the future, new note-taking platforms will emerge, inspiring a new generation of learners, passing on knowledge and passion. Lindongnote may soon bid farewell, but its creativity, effort, and friendship will remain in our hearts, like a faint light illuminating the years we chased our dreams.

Thank you for this journey, for every attempt, and for every memory. Though Lindongnote is closing, the chapters of youth continue, and we will carry them forward as we move on.
