Machine Learning for IDS trained using KDD99 dataset obtained from UCI.(https://kdd.ics.uci.edu/databases/kddcup99/kddcup99.html)
The prediction model is trained and tested using a 10% subset of the whole data.(filename: kddcup.data_10_percent.gz)
Test the performance of an SVM model in predicting DoS attack (i.e. neptune).
