This plugins helps you have that letterbox/Filmgate in your camera that you had in your DCC Engines such as 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, etc. This helps in where a Director/Cinematographer wants to see the frame with a specific aspect ratio in his mind.

You can use the plugin also in the sequencer to render out with letterbox

Step 1: Go to Plugins

Step 2: Enable the Custom Letterbox Camera Plugin in Previz category.

Step 3: Go to the content, open view options and enable View Plugin Content

Step 4: Drag the Letterbox Camera in the viewport.

Step 5: Scroll in the details panel and enter your sensor values. Enter aspect ratio as per requirement.

Step 6: Enable and Disable letter box using the radio button.

Final result Letterbox - True

Letterbox - False
