Slate mosaic

This series of mosaics was inspired by the beauty of the Easdale slate which comes from a group of islands off the west coast of Scotland. The designs were based on the shapes and colours of the slate. Additional materials, including other types of slate, stone, glass were used to add variety and texture to each mosaic.
