This is my first environment design portfolio. The scene was created from an imagination of a village in the desert. The village and bazaar were to have been formed by people gathering to live in an ancient ruin and was decorated accordingly. It was created in referance to the oldest bazaar village in Egypt and the architecture of the Middle East. Thank you to the many people who helped completing it. Made in Unreal Engine 4. This project was designed to practice sculpting and applying trimsheets on a modular kit with an environment concept art. I really tried to focus on creating textures and trims that blended together for the environment. The plants are from Quixel. Also, I learned how to sculpt edge wear damage normals for the buildings to add some easy damage and used RGB masks to add details on a second UV set onto the modular pieces. This is a part of a visual story I'm developing about a young Tuareg man trying to survive a passage through the Sahara desert during the European invasion at the end of the 19th century. More of it coming soon I hope. I tried to push all the knowledge I learned from my Design Environment class as far as I could (as far as my PC could actually).
