  • The History of Diving Museum's latest featured exhibit, "Dive Into Art: Fintastic Fish of Florida" is on display through April 16. The exhibit features artistic creations from students across the Keys, as well as from the Art Guild of the Purple Isles. These works focus on the diverse fish of the Florida coast, along with sustainable fishing, aquaculture, and conservation.

  • The Seminar Series featuring George Poveromo along with teams of top national and regional angling authorities follows a “No Holds Barred” format that requires experts to reveal their prime fishing spots, the best times to fish them and the best baits and lures to use! Attendees receive five hours of fishing instruction, plus chances to win prizes and a Florida Keys fishing trip. Staged at Coral Shores High School Performing Arts Center, mile marker 89.9 in Tavernier, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Join the History of Diving Museum for a benefit concert, art exhibit and special musical tribute to musician, artist and avid diver Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead. Rainbow of Sounds, a beloved Grateful Dead Experience Concert band, is set to bring a night of timeless tunes and joyful vibes to the stage in support of the History of Diving Museum. Concertgoers will enjoy a stellar musical performance but while contributing to a cause that educates and inspires future generations about the evolution of diving technology and underwater adventure. 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Safe Harbor Angler House, mile marker 80.5 bayside.

  • The Morada Way Arts & Cultural District’s Third Thursday Art Walk in Islamorada is the organization’s landmark, monthly event. This Thursday, enjoy a holiday-flavored edition of the art walk with Keys-inspired fine artists, vendors, residents, and visitors congregating on Morada Way in Islamorada. Enjoy a relaxing evening from 6-9 p.m. perusing local fine art, imbibing local craft beer and wine and listening to music, in the area between mile markers 81 and 82 at 151 Morada Way.

There’s fun for the entire family. Gates open at Founders Park at mile marker 87 bayside at 8 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. There will be 18 food trucks spread around the park. Parking is available at Coral Shores High School with free shuttle service to the park.
