2022 BMW M5 CS announced

Starts at $143k. Hood looks weird. Anyone gonna start preparing for the great M5CS lease deals two years from now?

Side tracking here. @jananth1 how’s the RS3 treating you?

That’s why I said we should wait two years a la M3/M4CS

BMW has nice cinematic qualities to their ads, but I’m not a fan of most of them (loose story, too many cuts, not enough angles of the car itself)

It’s SO nice. Literally the perfect car for me - small car for city parking but still can carry 4/5 passengers (and the occasional standing desk from Costco - it barely fit), AWD, the sound of that 5 cyl…also not too flashy. Only complaint would be the suspension is pretty stiff and Seattle roads leave a lot to be desired. I am considering getting a winter wheel set and a roof rack to head up to the mountains for ski season next year.

Honestly when I first bought it I didn’t plan on keeping it past warranty. Having owned it for a few months, I now am thinking I might keep it for much longer…

Maybe. Or maybe it will be like the M2CS with sky high pricing regardless! Either way, can’t imagine it’s that great for a daily - prob way too overkill on the hardcore side.

They will control production, Don’t bet on a steal.

If they don’t control production its a gg tho.

Haha I had a blast with my RS3 but due to covid had to sell it lol. With NJ roads I had to replace those shitty Pirelli’s with Michelins and the thing was a dream. Not sure if your going to modify it but look into the K&W Height Adjustable Springs they change the ride completely.

I drove the M5 Competition twice this past year; Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Austin Texas Circuit of the Americas. (yeah, left the house twice).

Those surprised me the most of what I drove. Yeah, they basically use the same engine as most of their high end cars. But M5 was decent. Though, also drove at high speed… the M8 competition. the All wheel drive or two wheel drive selectable drive is nicer.

that’s one creepy guy in that video.

This is exciting. Say what you will but I’m a big fan of the CS line of cars. The whole thinking process behind a vehicle like this is inspiring. May not be the car for you but there’s definitely a market out there for it especially since this price point is actually quite competitive these days.

I just received one last allocation for a 2022 M5 CS. If anyone is interested in securing it today, please email me directly at dave.townsend@bmwofmurrieta.com.

How about 75k over? :joy: I get that it’s one of the last ones still available but that’s still rich…

well, that aged very poorly :joy:
