IDontTakeUSrsly unbelievable how good this is. the combination of raw depressive black elements with “post black” works so well! There are a lot of good things coming for this band. My only complaint is that I wish the album was longer!!!!!!!!! It’s that good!

Obscure Shadow An incredible masterpiece! I love the haunting atmosphere that enhances the angst laden vocals. A true expression of feelings of isolation, emptiness and sorrow. I had a very difficult time selecting a favorite track, because they are all so beautifully done! A world of thanks for creating such an intense and mesmerizing album! Goes right to the top of my all time best melancholic albums! Favorite track: Method of Despair.

The driving point of the songs on an album such as this, is just the melodies being played. They are solid, often quite simple, a lead guitar and a rhythm guitar and a humble synth playing often almost unnoticeably in the background. The result is some really good black metal, not one that tries to impress with violent imagery, fast drums, anti-christianity, and the likes, but rather one who solely relies on the quality of the songs. lister1937
