John Cowper Powys (Shirley, Derbyshire, 1872ko urriaren 8a - Blaenau Ffestiniog, 1963ko ekainaren 17a) galestar filosofo, eleberrigile, literatura kritikari eta olerkaria izan zen. Arrakasta lortu zuen 1929an Wolf Solent eleberriarekin. Zenbait idazleren eragina izan zuen, bereziki Thomas Hardyrena. Bere eleberrietan paisaia papera nagusia jokatzen du.
