RIESGO DE PREECLAMPSIA
Los riesgos pueden derivarse de la historia materna y cualquier combinación de biomarcadores. Los
marcadores útiles a las 19-25 semanas son la presión arterial media (MAP), IP de la arteria uterina (UTPI),
PLGF sérico y sFLT-1.
PLGF y sFLT se convierten a MoM, pues dependen de características maternas y reactivos utilizados para
el ánálisis.

RECOMENDACIÓN
Sobre la base de esta evaluación, es poco probable que la paciente desarrolle PE antes
de las 36 semanas. Sin embargo, se recomienda que el riesgo de PE a término se evalúe
a las 36 semanas.
El índice de VPS de la arteria oftálmica a las 19-23 semanas de gestación, tanto por sí solo como en
combinación con otros biomarcadores, es potencialmente útil para predecir el desarrollo posterior de
la PE, especialmente la PE prematura, pero se necesitan estudios más amplios para validar este
hallazgo.

CONCLUSIONES
• La correcta realización del ultrasonido de segundo trimestre
junto con la utilización de herramientas mencionadas,
proporcionan al médico tratante un panorama más amplio de lo
que esta sucediendo con la paciente y el feto. Por lo que el
médico tratante podrá dar un mejor manejo con los mejores
resultados posibles para la madre y el feto.
