trabajar a compresión, entre muchas otras capacidades
hacen del concreto uno de los materiales primordiales en la
construcción; desde la construcción de estructuras
pequeñas, como las casas de viviendas hasta las más
grandes.

Las normas técnicas complementarias de la CDMX incluyen
especificaciones detalladas sobre el uso de materiales de construcción,
como lo es el concreto, con el objetivo de garantizar la seguridad
estructural de los edificios y la calidad de la construcción en general.

 NORMAS TÉCNICAS
COMPLEMENTARIAS PARA
DISEÑO Y CONSTRUCCIÓN DE
ESTRUCTURAS DE CONCRETO
En estas Normas se presentan disposiciones para diseñar
estructuras de concreto, incluido el concreto simple, reforzado y
presforzado. Se dan requisitos complementarios para concreto
ligero y concretos especiales.
El concreto de resistencia normal
empleado para fines estructurales puede
ser de dos clases: clase 1, con peso
volumétrico en estado fresco superior a
22 kN/m3 (2.2 t/m3 ) y clase 2 con peso
volumétrico en estado fresco
comprendido entre 19 y 22 kN/m3 (1.9 y
2.2 t/m3 ).
● Para las obras clasificadas como del grupo A o B1, según se definen en el
artículo 139 del Reglamento, se usará concreto de clase 1, así como en
los que se especifique en estas normas.

● El concreto clase 2 se podrá usar en estructuras menores, de claros no

mayores de 5 m y alturas de no más de dos niveles.
