Del Lder Mundial en Tecnologa VRLA Para Bateras


Diseada para ofrecer durabilidad en aplicaciones de servicio elctrico y telecomunicaciones, la lnea de
Terminal FRONTAL MARATHON de GNB Industrial Power ofrece confiabilidad y desempeo elevados en
aplicaciones que requieren descargas prolongadas. La ubicacin de las terminales al frente (vs. la parte superior) de la batera, facilita enormemente la instalacin y mantenimiento del producto cuando se coloca en un
compartimiento de gabinete o en una charola de bastidor para relevador estndar. La familia de bateras de
Terminal Frontal MARATHON es un ejemplo ms de la notable y amplia experiencia de GNB y su liderazgo
mundial en la tecnologa VRLA.

Manufactura de Calidad Integrada en el Diseo


Los procesos de calidad en la manufactura de las bateras de la lnea MARATHON incorporan las tecnologas ms avanzadas de la industria, incluyendo: Un sistema automatizado de deteccin de fugas de
helio, un dispositivo de llenado con cido por peso controlado por computadora, y un proceso de formacin en bao de agua con temperatura controlada. Se prueba la capacidad de todas y cada una de las
unidades.

Caractersticas de Alto Desempeo


de la Lnea MARATHON
Envolvente y cubierta reforzados con retardante de fuego, conforme a la norma UL94 V-0,
con un nivel de prdida en ignicin del 28%.
Reductor de chispa integrado, soldado en la
cubierta mediante ultrasonido.
Diseo patentado de Pared Lateral tipo
Diamante para mantener la integridad estructural a mayores temperaturas de operacin.*
La unin del envolvente con la cubierta est sellada trmicamente para garantizar un sello a
prueba de fugas.
Tecnologa de Tapete de Vidrio Absorbente de
Alta Compresin (AGM) para lograr una eficiencia de ms del 99% en la recombinacin.
Diseo de placa positiva con alto contenido de
estao, calcio, plata y plomo, que ofrece una
mxima vida de servicio en flotacin; una vida
til del diseo de 10 aos a 25C (77F).
Terminales de Aleacin de Cobre* Accesibles
desde el Frente y Protector de Polo de
Encendido/Apagado Sencillo.
Ventilacin confiable
unidireccional con sello de
seguridad automtico.
