the nirvana farmhouse in the small town of khadavli gently blends into the green landscape to impersonate a quiet retreat.

Concept The assignment was not one of the easiest: to sensitively place a family house on a sloping and atypical plot of land in a dense rural area. Designed with respect for the local context, but at the same time with openness to inspiration and a novel solution.

Yesterday I had somewhere to be. But, I got on the road early and decided to take my time to get there. I was attending an event in Smithville, Texas called the Photo Festival. More about that in another post with different images. I decided to try and take backroads for as much of the way there as I felt comfortable.
