The best all-around octave pedal
I'm embarrassed, because the Micro POG was my first octave pedal, and I then embarked on a seven or eight pedal quest to find something better, only to have to re buy this one again at the end. It really is the winner.
The tracking is impressive and clean, even on chords and strange intervals. Dissonant chords or minor second intervals, which are usually the bane of octave pedals, even track well on this one.
The sound of the lower octave is pretty good, and if you needed to 'fake' a bass signal by pitching down a guitar, this is the octave pedal I'd choose. The high octave is a bit obnoxious on its own, but I don't think anybody really plays the high octave by itself. Mixed in with the dry signal at ten or eleven o'clock, it sounds perfectly good.
Do yourself a favor and skip the seven or so other octave pedals I tried before having to re-purchase this one again, and just start here.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I basically always have this set with Dry all the way up, Low all the way down, and High at about ten o'clock.

Very curious
It can give you a curious sound, both for guitar and for electric bass, you can create very curious sounds and fill a lot.

Very unique, not at all essential, but pretty fucking enjoyable.
Would give it a 5 stars if it was an essential pedal like a comp, a reverb or a drive, but honestly it's so damn good and it can easily give personality, color and variety to your sound.

The standard in polyphonic octaves!
I received the pedal two years ago. Of all the tested, this would be the fastest and cleanest tracking! I mainly used it for ambient guitar pads, Organ simulation or to simulate bass runs with the guitar. For the first task it is perfect for the others a good compromise.
The pedal can not do much, but what it does can do it perfectly: Addition of an octave above and one below the notes played! These can be mixed together with the original sound source arbitrarily with each other in the volume. Hence the 3 volume controllers.

OUTSTANDING SOUND
there's a lot of detune or octaving pedals, but thi is just a quite a terrific sound and very unique!

Awesome
Nothing beats the original - I’ve found it difficult to replicate the sound this pedal produces with anything else. Bit fussy when it comes to power but seems to work best when isolated.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
All dials at 1 o’clock

Clear tone, easy to use, but not too practical...
I originally bought this pedal as I wanted to be able to change octave midway through songs, or add an almost 'synth-bass' feel that I wouldn't be able to get my BOSS Super Octave. It's super easy to use, with the knobs clearly labelled. The only reason it only gets 3 stars instead of 4, or 5, is that there is no battery capability, which is fine for pedalboards, but the cumbersome size should offer battery capability.

Organ like Sound
Got it 3 Years ago. Prefered the Organ Sound over all the Artifical Sounding Octaver/Pitchshifter Pedals for Bass a lot.
Nowadays there might be better Pitch Shift Pedals on the market like the Hedra and the Brainwaves pedals but i didnt play those pedals enough to be sure about that.

Wow
This is easily the best pedal I own. I use it because my band is only drums and bass guitar so I use it in conjunction with a boss oc-3 to get a thicker sound. It is absolutely amazing, the tracking is perfect and the tone remains exactly the same which is something the boss pedal can't do.

Clean digital octaves
It sounds nice, I had the Nano version too but this one sounds a little nicer to me. I first replaced it by an EQD Organizer as that sounds warmer, but it has some lag while the POG is absolutely immediate about its tracking. Now I got back to EHX with a B9 as it has an octave mode that tracks as immediate as as the POG but with a warmer and more organic sound (plus it has a lot other peculiar sounds).
