The Office of Graduate Education provides you with professional and career development support to help you build essential, non-academic skills necessary for you to be successful in a global workforce. We help to create a community for you to learn, develop and prosper while a student in our college.

Engineering Career Services (ECS)

ECS provides information, assistance, friendly support and technology resources necessary for graduate students to effectively utilize program services and develop career management skills that last a lifetime. Whether you need a resume consultation, help with job search questions, or assistance with preparing for on-campus interview and recruiting events, we are here to help you!

Graduate Student Organizations

There are a variety of graduate student organizations within the College of Engineering as well as the university as a whole. You can explore all options through Student Activities within the Office of Student Life.

Graduate Student Organization Event Funding 

Graduate student organizations within the College of Engineering can request up to $150 from the Office of Graduate Education to support an event which aligns with the university Shared Values. Events supported by these funds must be open to all. No more than 1 event per calendar year will be supported. Requests for funding should be submitted via the online form and include the name of the graduate student organization, contact information for the organization's president and treasurer, purpose of the event and location. Submit the form.

The Ohio State University

As a graduate student in the College of Engineering, you not only find yourself as a part of the Engineering and Architecture family, but as a member of The Ohio State University family. As such, there are many additional resources available to our students across the Columbus campus.

The Graduate School

OUAB Grad/Prof

While you are at Ohio State, you will interact with the Graduate School on a regular basis. The Graduate School acts as the governing administrative body for all graduate programs at Ohio State and maintains the integrity of Ohio State’s graduate degrees. As such, all graduate students are beholden to the rules and deadlines set forth in the Graduate School Handbook.

As Ohio State's student programming organization, the Ohio Union Activities Board strives to provide diverse programs and events that are educational, entertaining and thought-provoking for the students on the Columbus Campus.

The Graduate and Professional student committee of the Ohio Union Activities Board designs and executes over 200 programs that are intentionally created to enhance the graduate and professional student experience. In an effort to provide holistic opportunities we offer programs in five key areas:
