Dr

Qiang Wu PhD

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Biography

Qiang obtained his BEng and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. His doctoral research was focused on the investigation on the fabrication of drug-loaded micro/nanoparticles for biomedical applications. In 2018, he joined the BUBBL group as a Post-Doctoral Researcher to develop acoustically responsive nanodroplets for targeted delivery of osteogenic drugs.

Research Interests

Qiang's current research efforts include micro and nanoparticles synthesis for biomedical applications, development of new technology to enable better characterisation of bacterial infections and rapid point-of-care diagnostics and development of setup to combine optical imaging, B-mode imaging, and acoustic emissions for correlating ultra high-speed imaging and passive acoustic mapping.
