Usage notes
editSome square names in Budapest use the form tere instead of tér, e.g. Hősök tere, Ferenciek tere, Rózsák tere, Vértanúk tere, Hadak tere, Mindenszentek tere, Ötvenhatosok tere, Magyar jakobinusok tere, Harminckettesek tere, as well as frequently Álmos vezér tere and Örs vezér tere. In most cases (except the last two), the possessive form is deemed necessary because of the plural possessor. The last name, however, alternates with Örs vezér tér.
