Hej, og velkommen til min brugerside. Jeg kan læse svensk og norsk, men desværre stort set intet færøsk og islandsk.

Hello, and welcome to my user page. Feel free to ask me about any of the languages listed to the right.

Hallo, und willkommen in meiner Benutzerseite. Ich bekomme selten die Gelegenheit, mein Deutsch zu üben; deshalb wäre ich nur froh, wenn man zu mir auf Deutsch redete.

(born in '98, raised in Southern Funen)

  • I pronounce [ɛ] as [ɛ̝].
  • I pronounce words like række, trække, skræk, dreng, streng with a diphtong [ɑɪ̯], hence strække and strejke are homophones.
  • I pronounce stræde as [ˈsd̥ʁæːðə] and træde as [ˈtʁ̥æːðə], (almost or completely?) rhyming with glade, blade. Likewise, republik, præsident with either [a] or [æ]; I am not quite sure, but it definitely is not [ɛ].
  • I pronounce tretten and trætten as [ˈtʁ̥ɑd̥ən], and skræppe and skrappe as [ˈsɡ̊ʁɑb̥ə].
  • I tend to monophtongize some diphtongs ending in [ɪ̯].
  • I merge [ʌ] and [ɐ].
  • Grønnum's three-way distinction [œ̞]/[œ]/[ɶ] is alien to me; hør (flax) and gøre I pronounce [ˈhɶɐ̯ˀ] and [ˈɡ̊ɶːɐ]. grynte I pronounce [ˈɡ̊ʁœnd̥ə].
