Uses Lua:
This template replaces the standard table of contents with a more compact layout. It is designed to be used on pages with many languages. It should be placed all the way at the top of the page, but below {{also}}
.
The template relies on Module:minitoc and Module:minitoc/styles.css. There is also a gadget, MediaWiki:Gadget-minitoc.js, which allows users to set preferred languages that are displayed on the header.
The template chooses when to hide itself depending on the skin and the number of language sections (L2s) on the page.
- 1–4 L2s: hidden.
- 5–9 L2s: hidden everywhere except for Minerva on narrow screens (< 720px).
- 10–19 L2s: hidden everywhere except for Minerva on narrow screens (< 720px) and Vector 2022.
- 20+ L2s: always shown.
