Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page:
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} . GorillaWarfare (talk) 01:15, 22 April 2017 (UTC)

Because of this, I am declining your unblock request. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:28, 22 April 2017 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. CommentHello. I noticed that you do a lot of copy-editing and fixing, but unfortunately happened to clash with other editors and edit war with them. Please note that when someone reverts a change you made, it is recommended to discuss the issue on the relevant article's talk page before restoring the edit. Also, perhaps I could suggest looking at the category Category:Wikipedia articles needing copy edit which contains articles specifically tagged as needing copy-editing and fixes. We also have a related Wikiproject, WP:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors which perhaps may interest you. Moreover, it may not be productive to make unblock requests for such a short block delay. What's so urgent? It may be a good opportunity to read some of the links provided in the previous welcome message you have received. Hopefully once the short block expires your editing experience will be more successful. Thanks, —░]PaleoNeonate█ ⏎ ?ERROR░ 03:04, 22 April 2017 (UTC) Recent edit to MachacaHello. I noticed that you recently made a contribution to the Machaca article that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! However, test edits on live articles disrupt Wikipedia and may confuse readers. Cheers. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 20:09, 3 July 2017 (UTC) Clades are singular76.189.141.88, would you please stop trying to change the grammatical number of clades (families etc.) to plural, as you did in e.g. Scarabaeoidea? Clades are always treated as singular. - To be frank, you don't know nearly as much about grammar as you assume you do, especially not in specialist subject areas. I and other editors have undone a large number of your edits, and you are doing more harm than good. You have already be warned about this, Please take heed. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 11:21, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
September 2017Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this: Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes) Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history. Edit summary content is visible in: Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Dairy{talk} 04:03, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Spelling numbersJust a small note: In most cases it is entirely correct to change numbers from "1 to 9" to words "one to nine" (per MOS:NUMBERS). However, when there are comparable quantities, they're either all spelled as words or all written as figures. There were "five to twenty dogs" or "5 to 20 dogs" are both correct, but "five to 20 dogs" isn't (per WP:NUMNOTES). Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. December 2017Jack Webb, etc.Thank you for your excellent edits to Jack Webb. I see that you (or, perhaps, multiple individuals who use the same IP address) have been editing Wikipedia extensively (at least 500 edits just since November 6, 2017). As another Wikipedian suggested in the Welcome message above, I hope you will consider registering for an account on Wikipedia, which will identify your edits with a unique username. That will enable you to get credit for your improvements to Wikipedia. Most registered editors choose a username that does not reveal their real-world identity. Regardless of whether you choose to register, thank you for helping Wikipedia, and best wishes for a happy Holiday Season and New Year (I know, those terms really should be lower case). Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you in any way.—Finell 23:47, 16 December 2017 (UTC) January 2018Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Sailfin flyingfish, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. – Gilliam (talk) 15:03, 6 January 2018 (UTC)

Edit SummariesYou were already notified about this last month. In that time, you've made approx. 500 edits, but have only added about 7 edit summaries. If you wish to contribute, than do so according to the guidelines. Try to add an edit summary to every edit. Otherwise you are just creating more work for other editors, which can lead to ill will. The editing guidelines are clearly spelled out via the links in the 'welcome' template above, please read them and abide by them. Thanks you. - theWOLFchild 03:12, 30 January 2018 (UTC) Changing the sense with copy-editingI know that many Wikignomes like to make many minor edits, and to remain as anonymous IPs while doing so. However, even copy-editing comes with responsibility, one of them being to take great care not to alter the sense. However, at Housefly, you just replaced "for these reasons" with "so" - sounds innocent enough, eh? But you didn't spot that "these", plural obviously, referred to the past few sentences, whereas your "so" seemed to connect only to the sentence it was in, something different entirely. Please take more care in your editing. I first saw a goof you left behind while 'copyediting'. (Search for " t ") To me copyediting implies 'care'.
Then I check a couple recent edits. sSeason is not being careful. (Please note that I check "Show changes" on every edit I do, to catch any goofs.)
That edit also shows you have not reviewed WP:ENGVAR. Changing 'canceled' to 'cancelled' may be satisfying to you, but is not useful to Wikipedia, as past "whose English" disputes have shown.
Strangely, you seem to be forcing the opposite English with regard to changing "north-western" to 'northwestern'. See Compass points. Again, basing your edits purely on personal whim is not a valid rationale.
Changing "D.C." to 'DC' is just wrong. How did you not check that? Something like that makes me worried you are editing without thinking, just to be editing. That damages articles. Please go back and fix those.
I don't know why you change words like 'anti-aircraft' to 'antiaircraft', especially given the article title Anti-aircraft warfare. Again, are you changing things out of personal preference, without reference to even Wikipedia?
As many of the above complaints have mentioned, you seem to not understand editing here. Editing is not about quantity. It never was. Shenme (talk) 19:36, 13 May 2018 (UTC)

- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Bigmouth buffalo, you may be blocked from editing. Aspening (talk) 16:55, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
