Discography
I'am looking for lucky dube's all album written
I added a discography for Lucky Dube. If there is any more matierals I am sure someone else can add it.
I have included all of Lucky dube's main albums released I have been following him since 1990 as far as I know these are the main albums apart from another released which had just four songs on it released around the time of Taxman
This page needs to be rewritten. the structure doesn't make alot of sense Stevo D 01:36, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
The Links to his albums Prisoner and Slave both lead to entirely different artists. someone please find the correct links. Stevo D
I have structured the article> I think now it is okay. So the cleanup icon may be removed. -- Hermitage17 06:15, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Can someone please populate this page with information. There is more information about Lucky Dube that should be put here. The man is a star and deserves more than one page of information. - Rodger
A number of obscure, ungrammatical or child-like statements - still needs a lot of cleaning up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.156.184.173 (talk) 04:57, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Big clean up
I have cleaned this up and sourced the content, as I expect it will be getting a lot more hits tomorrow as the news of his death disseminates. At the moment, the details of his death are sketchy (for example, some sources mention his son was present, other suggests his daughter was too - so I have gone for "children" at the moment). I think we should keep the section on his death neutral and brief until the details further emerge from reliable sources. This page has already been sourced by the mainstream media for info on him [1], so lets try and keep it tight over the next few days so we don't embarrass ourselves. - Argh. The part they sourced as "according to Wikipedia" is actually a statement that is conflicting with the "Official Lucky Dube website," specifically how he got his name. (nowhere could I find anything about "poor health" at birth, only references to the mother's previous failed pregnancies). I fixed the Wik to cite the official site.
Conflicting information
The introduction and the "Early Life" section in the biography offer contradictory information about why he was called Lucky. Can someone who knows the real story please fix this? Thanks Qwertyca 19:09, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- I fixed what I could based on the "official website" and the CNN report. Removed the redundancy. Keeper | 76 19:21, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Nazareth Baptist Church "Shembe" Church
Is there anybody who knows details of Lucky Dube's contributions to the Nazareth Baptist Church. This seems like significant information to me but I know nothing more than that he donated money and wrote songs about the church (Shembe is the way). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.164.201.93 (talk) 02:16, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
