You have been indefinitely blocked from editing Wikipedia

edit

Blocked
You have been indefinitely blocked for keeping pet lemmings until hell freezes over. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page, replacing your reason here with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified, even though no administrator is listening to your pesky whining. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list, though it will most likely cause your email to be added to Spamhause. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time, or until the admin reblocking you gets carpal tunnel syndrome from trying to enter the block time.

Please do not erase warnings on this page. Doing so may be considered disruptive, and it keeps admins from getting their daily pay of pie $100. Mizu onna sango15Hello! 17:50, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Wichita High School West

edit

A tag has been placed on Wichita High School West requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks for uploading Image:Film vier minuten.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Fair use rationale for File:Safari 4 For Windows.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Safari 4 For Windows.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Safari 4 For Windows.jpg)

edit
⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Safari 4 For Windows.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:33, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy Deletion Tag for Kazi Dawa Samdup

edit

Hi

That was quick!!! - I only just created a stub and started working on the article - If you simply did a search on "Kazi Dawa Samdup" or "Kazi Dawa-Samdup" before adding the tag, you would have quickly seen there are quite a number of his works referencened in Wikipedia. In particular he was amongst the first to translate Tibetan Buddhist works into western languages. The well known "Tibetan Book of the Dead" amongst them. Many of these translations were published by Oxford University Press under the name of his editor W. Y. Evans-Wentz. Anyway give me a chance to flesh out the article. Meanwhile I request you remove the tag. Chris Fynn (talk) 07:00, 26 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for making me aware of the {{{New page}} template. That is very useful. Cheers - Chris

No worries. Until recently the software that Wikipedia runs on used to automatically closed the font tag, but that software cause a bunch of other problems and had to be disabled a couple of months ago, so for most of those 9 years the unwanted turn-everything-red effect was invisible. --Guy Macon (talk) 18:28, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
