GA reveiw

edit

Re: [1] Sounds great! I look forward to addressing any concerns you identify. This review has been a long time coming. Thank you for doing the review. --SkotyWATC 18:41, 9 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thank you so much for doing the GA review of Steve Zakuani. I believe I've addressed all of your concerns except for the one regarding the stats from the U.S. Open Cup tournament. I can't find an online source for that. However, I do believe they're contained in the club's annual media guide (I'll check tomorrow) and if they are, I'll update the ref accordingly. At that point I think I'll have addressed everything. I'll let you know when I've updated that ref. Thanks again. --SkotyWATC 04:58, 15 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Re: [2] Yes, those are the competitions referred to. I forgot to grab the media guide at work on Friday, but will do so on Monday. Expect that by Monday evening (Seattle time) I will have the rest of the stats/refs in order for it to pass GA review. Sorry for the delay. --SkotyWATC 17:36, 17 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Nice one, thanks for keeping me informed, and I'll add wikilinks to the article later for those columns to for clarity's sake. GW(talk) 18:29, 17 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

DW Stadium/Wigan Edits

Hi, Thanks for your message. I was not aware that the consensus had changed regarding leads pertaining to geographical location - I apologise for edits I made as a result. Am I correct in assuming that articles dealing specifically with geographical locations are retainig the consensus regarding counties?

Thanks Man2 (talk) 10:36, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi again, just an additional point regarding the Wigan articles. I see we started as editors around the same time (2007). Do you remember an unregistered editor who left messages as 'JemmyH'?. I was very active on the articles some time ago and we had major problems with this editor. He took particular issue with geographical and political boundaries in the area and caused a great deal of disruption to good faith editors. Given that your active on the Wigan articles at present it may be something to keep an eye out for. Hope to work on some of the articles with you soon. Happy editing !! Talk:Sam Tomkins/GA1

edit

Hi GW. I have initiated the GA review of Sam Tomkins. Enjoyed reading it and was quite impressed by the number of tries he has scored already. Don't let the long comments section put you off, I am thorough with my reviews and most of the issues I found are minor or aimed at improving the article. I see this as a collaborative process and everything there is negotiable. I am happy to keep this open as long as progress is being made. Regards AIRcorn (talk) 12:58, 17 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Glad to see you have been working through the article. I will try and do a spot check on a few of the references this weekend. Let me know at my talk page when you are ready for me to have another look. Cheers. AIRcorn (talk) 14:19, 8 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I am going to take a break from here soon so if we could wrap up this soon that would be great. AIRcorn (talk) 03:10, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Mkativerata subbed on for the final few minutes and we managed to get this one over the line. Congratulations. AIRcorn (talk) 06:34, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
