Regarding your obviously professional insights, I would like to ask if you could agree with the following short formulation, "Confidence limits must not be understood as the standard deviation of a Gaussian distribution, the middle of which being the most probable choice. Rather the confidence limit marks the SPACE IN WHICH the mean of the population parameter CAN lie with the chosen probability." HJJHolm (talk) 16:16, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
