Talk:List of events at Tele2 Arena

Only events with articles should be listed

edit

As currently constituted, this is exactly the type of non-encyclopaedic list that the guidelines were drafted to avoid. Having non-notable events serves neither the informational, the navigational nor the developmental purposes of lists. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lists#Purposes of lists. Similarly, just because a person or band is notable, does not mean that any event in which they participate is notable. Notability is not transferred. So far as I can see, none of the events listed here are notable, none of these events have articles. It is possible that the Superserien 2013 Final is a notable event, but there is no article about it. --Bejnar (talk) 23:10, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I do agree with you to some extent, I removed a whole bunch of league-matches in football, so atleast now the bar for inclusion is a tad higher than it was before. Notable was however discussed in the previous AfD, so I believe we now should use our energy to make this list as good as possible. Mentoz (talk) 08:19, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
