Love is Love

edit

Just curious why the song "Love is Love" (From the OST- "Electric Dreams") is not mentioned in here.

Drug use

edit

George was not using drugs with money from his new-found fame in 1984. The drug use started in 1985.

Boy George and Sam Butcher

edit

Where is Boy George among the 'members'? Does he/she/it has another name? Who is Sam Butcher among the 'members'?

Last year, Culture Club came back together. Boy George and Roy Hay, who played guitar, declined to reform with the band. CC got a replacement singer (Sam Butcher) and replacement guitarist (Phil Pickett, who sang backup and played keyboards with the band in the 80's.)

This Way Up

edit

According to Absolute Radio's Forgotton 80s, John Robertson Reid of Nightcrawlers was the lead singer of Culture Club spin-off This Way Up with Roy Hay. Is this true? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.168.11 (talk) 10:39, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Indeed, this is true.

Joe Hepperle (me) deleted "Legal /Personal Issues" section

edit

Somehow, I got logged-out before I deleted the section, so it only shows my IP 71.221.249.215

This section contained no "Legal /Personal Issues" of Culture Club (The subject of this article). There were two items about Boy George which happened long after his departure from CC, and one item about Mikey Craig. None of the three were "Legal /Personal Issues" of Culture Club.

The information is already existing on Boy George's and Mikey Craig's pages respectively. It does not belong here. Joe Hepperle (talk) 20:21, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
