"Synthesis of Products" section.
editIn the section "synthesis of products" it's stated that references exist to this compound, olivetol, being mentioned in Alexander Shulgin's "PiHKAL," specifically in reference to the synthesis of THC (tetrahydrocannibinol). I find this highly questionable as: 1.) THC isn't a phenethylamine (in fact it isn't even an -amine), which is the entire focus of PiHKAL and more damning, I can find no reference to this compound in PiHKAL, nor the other compound listed, "pulegone." If someone has the proper citation for this I'd love to see it, otherwise this should be removed. Second is this reference to "Adams, Roger University of Illinois" (reference 3). Without giving anymore information as to the source of this cited information this reference is worthless and should also be removed if no further clarification is provided. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.74.65.113 (talk) 17:29, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
it's in the first part of the book in which he explaines how he experienced THC without using cannabis, its not a lab procedure as in the second part. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:1811:B30A:2700:85A7:533B:19CA:7D2D (talk) 21:53, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Pronunciation
editAny idea how to pronounce it? Is it "OLIVE-tall" or "oh-LIVAH-tall" or what? 71.139.161.36 (talk) 03:27, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
