I have included here all of the citations I've been able to obtain which are in the public domain. Because the ancient fragments in which Metrodorus of Scepsis is attested are relatively few, I felt justified in trying to gather them together in one place. While this collection of references is not the ideal format for an encyclopedia article, it will perhaps serve as a basis for further development.
This article, such as it is, suffers from the absence of the several mentions of Metrodorus in Cicero. I hope that someone will get to remedying this before I do. The possibility of including citations from late antique, mediaeval and renaissance sources is an interesting one. It would be useful to compare all of them in one place, alongside the classical references. --Picatrix (talk) 22:32, 11 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
