Influences
editI'm curious what the "influences" portion of the infobox refers to, or if it is documented. I can see how a musician might have influences, but aren't these influences on all paleontologists? Is there a citation for it? --TeaDrinker (talk) 00:08, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
- To editor TeaDrinker: Well, I'm no expert, but I think it's pretty much similar to musician influences. A musician plays a certain music and was influenced (generally) by others who also play or played that type of music. Paleontology also has subdivisions/specialties, and those who specialize may be influenced by others who specialize or once specialized in a particular subdivision of paleontology. I could be wrong. Stick to sources! Paine 07:31, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
