Kazi Shahidullah is a Bangladeshi academic and a former chairman of Bangladesh University Grants Commission during 2019–2024.[1][2]

Career
editShahidullah served as the vice-chancellor of the National University of Bangladesh during 2009–2013.[3][4] He taught history at the University of Dhaka.[5]
At the aftermath of 2024 Non-cooperation movement in Bangladesh, Shahidullah resigned from his chairmanship position at Bangladesh University Grants Commission citing illness on 11 August 2024.[2] He had been receiving treatments in Australia since August 2023.[2]
Personal life
editKazi Zafarullah is one of Shahidullah's brothers.[6]
