Bryce Aron (born September 30, 2003) is an American racing driver with Andretti Global competing in the 2024 Indy NXT Championship. Aron raced in the 2023 Euroformula Open Championship with Motopark Academy where he achieved three wins and five podiums, finishing fourth largely as a result of forgoing the final three races.[1] Aron is a 2024 Formula Regional Oceania race winner with M2 Competition and a race winner in the 2022 GB3 Championship with Hitech GP. Bryce is the winner of the 2020 Team USA Scholarship and made history as the first American to finish top 5 in both events receiving a Podium in the Walter Hayes Trophy Grand Final.[2]

Career
editFormula Ford
editBRSCC National Formula Ford Championship
editIn 2020, Aron moved to the UK to compete with Low Dempsey Racing in the BRSCC National Formula Ford Championship. Due to the pandemic, the championship was shortened to just 3 rounds and 7 races and Aron finished 5th in the standings, having won pole position in the penultimate round at Brands Hatch. In order to supplement the shortened race calendar, Low Dempsey Racing participated in a variety of additional series including the Champion of Brands, Champion of Cadwell and the majority of the Castle Combe Championship. Aron won the Champion of Cadwell.[3]
2020 Team USA Scholarship Winner
editAron was one of three winners of the highly coveted 2020 Team USA Scholarship. At the Formula Ford Festival Aron finished 3rd in the semi-final. In the final, Aron “ran strongly in third place until being elbowed down to fifth following a late-race Safety Car interruption.”[4] Aron then went on to the Walter Hayes Trophy, where out of 103 drivers he finished on the podium in 3rd place,[5] having been the 7th American to finish on the Walter Hayes Podium. Aron made history as the first American to finish with a top 5 and a podium in the two end of year iconic events.[6]
GB3 Championship
edit2021
editAron joined Carlin for 2021,[7] progressing to the GB3 Championship alongside teammates O’Sullivan and Mansell. Aron had what was hailed as a stunning debut at Brands Hatch where he made bold moves to end the race weekend with a 4th place finish.[8]
2022
editIn 2022 Aron joined Hitech GP where he contributed to their first GB3 championship team's win.[9] Aron scored 8 top 10 finishes, 5 of which came during the last 2 rounds. Aron ended the season by out-qualifying his teammates and then scoring a race 2 podium.[10] Aron scored 3 podiums and a win in the 2022 championship.[11]
Super Formula
editAt the end of 2022, Aron partook in Super Formula tests with B-Max Racing at Okayama[12] and Suzuka.[13] Aron was consistently in the top 5 and as high as 2nd fastest in the sessions in which he participated.[14]
Euroformula Open
editAron moved to the Euroformula Open in 2023, with Team Motopark.[15] A championship contender for much of the season,[16][17] Aron missed the last three races due to a conflict with Indy NXT,[18] finishing 4th overall with 3 wins and 5 podiums.
Formula Regional Oceania
editAron competed in the final two rounds of the 2024 Formula Regional Oceania Championship. Aron won at the Highlands Motorsports Park, during the New Zealand Grand Prix race weekend. In his first weekend in the Formula Regional car, Aron scored fastest race lap at Euromarque Motorsports Park.
Indy NXT
edit2024
editAron moved to America, joining Andretti Global to race in the 2024 Indy NXT Championship.[19]
2025
editAron moved to HMD Motorsports for his second season of Indy NXT in 2025.[20]
USF Pro 2000 Championship
editIn May 2024, Aron competed in one round of the USF Pro 2000 Championship at the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park with TJ Speed Motorsports, to gain experience in ovals.[21]
